  So unscrupulous and frustrating to deal with! I haven't posted this anonymously as this is a genuine review and I do want Anytime Fitness to resolve the issue - after 11 months I have my doubts!

  My experience with Anytime Fitness was so poor I have referred the matter to fair trading. After months of being overcharged I tried to have the issues resolved. After back and forth for 2 months I realised that I was not going to get anywhere. I proceeded to cancel in writing, over and over and they continued to take the money out of my credit card. I referred it to the Head Office (who generally never answer their phone, and rarely respond to emails) who only pointed back to the local gym who wouldn't do anything.

  Old gym and equipment is run down. Dark inside with minimal natural lighting. No fans in the treadmill area which make it very warm and the spot of the treadmills are facing a wall which is not very inviting. Not a very inviting place to encourage a workout.

  Perfect location.. lots of machines n free weights. Ventilation is an issue cos you can smell everyone's sweat.

  The reason for my 2 star is rating is for false promises by management. Having trained at North Sydney Anytime Fitness, I discussed with the manager at BH Anytime Fitness if I came across, if they would honour my membership rate I was paying when the transfer happened. Was promised it would happen by the manager, and low and behold when my transfer happened, the manager is no longer there, and the franchisee didn't want to honor my previous rate at NS. Was promised a call back by two staff members, but had to go in and follow up. It's not a huge amount, more the principal of it all.

  The gym itself is pretty good, minus 1 or 2 broken machines (treadmill and elliptical trainer that need attention), but I've seen other machines get fixed pretty quick.
